Start with the app rules
Check the age, location and account requirements stated by the publisher. Game modes differ between apps. Do not assume that every mode uses the same rules or requires the same commitments.
Choose your limits
Set a time limit before opening a game and take regular breaks. If an app includes paid features, choose a spending limit you can comfortably afford. A game result is never a promise of future results.
Use the controls available
Look for notification, time-management, spending or account controls provided by the app and your device. Turn off interruptions when you want a break.
Step away when needed
If playing stops feeling enjoyable or starts interfering with daily life, stop and speak with someone you trust. For changes to an account or access restrictions, use the publisher’s support channel.
